After learning that Beth is still alive and that Carol has fallen victim to the White Cross Group at Grady Memorial Hospital, Rick takes Sasha, Daryl and Tyreese to Atlanta to retrieve Carol and Beth.
Michonne and Carl stay behind with Judith and Gabriel. Carl makes every effort to engage with Gabriel; even offering to teach him how to defend himself. But Gabriel continues to refuse. Nothing more can be done so they hunker down to wait for the return of their friends and family.
Michonne has a special affinity for Carl. No matter how little she has, it is always shared with Carl. In order to pass the time and feed the young man, Michonne would no doubt look through the food stash and see the makings of a fun lunch. Baked Beans and Cheese Dip with stale corn chips can be prepared with only a few ingredients.
Fun and nutritious, it would be perfect for these two dear friends to share. Make it today and split it with your favorite person.
And when the dead rise; never leave a priest unsupervised. In fact; never leave a priest unsupervised at all.
Baked Beans and Cheese Dip
1-14 ounce jar Baked Beans (we used B&M)
1-5 ounce jar Old English Cheddar Spread
1 Tbsp. dried Minced Onion
1-2 Tbsp. Sriracha Sauce (to taste)
1-2 Tbsp. Yellow or Golden Mustard (to taste)
Corn Chips (stale chips will work just fine)
In a medium saucepan, combine beans, cheddar spread, minced onion, Sriracha sauce and mustard. Heat gently over medium heat, or medium-hot campfire coals until cheese is melted and blended and mixture is hot and bubbly. Serve hot with chips or crackers for dipping.
